These are some of the videos we have been researching for our film

The first is backyard effects to learn how to do headshots and adapt them to our film.

The next video is a student produced film in which we can take notes from.

Locations

After Looking for suitable locations for our zombie movie we found our perfect spot.

The reason this location was selected, is because it has a deserted feel and gives an isolated tone to our protagonist, also the dark muddy enviroment fits with codes and conventions of where zombie films can be shot. The barbed wire fence also adds an element of danger as it creates the idea that the person shouldn't be anywhere near there and raises questions as to where the protagonist is. The murky pond in the background adds a nice touch of an eerie atmosphere all adding to the mood of the scene.
